The Sioux City American Legion Family hosts a variety of events throughout the year, and some are held annually. Check our calendar to stay up to date!

  • Thunder on the Missouri Ride - An annual event to honor veterans at Siouxland Freedom Park. Typically held the end of May near Memorial Day. Learn More

  • 9/11 Flag Retirement Ceremony - Held annually on September 11th at Siouxland Freedom Park in South Sioux City, Nebraska

  • Family Christmas Dinner - Held in December, the Sioux City American Legion Family gets together for dinner at a local restaurant.
